About The Tour

Embark on a mesmerizing 7-day European adventure, starting in Zurich, Switzerland, where you’ll have time to unwind before diving into the city’s rich history and culture. Enjoy a scenic two-hour cruise on Lake Zurich, visiting charming villages along the way, and exploring Rapperswil’s medieval castle. The following day, journey through the breathtaking Interlaken region, visiting Grindelwald and Lucerne, before returning to Zurich. On day four, travel across the Alps to the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland, stopping in Lugano and the lakeside town of Como before arriving in Milan, where you’ll explore the iconic Piazza del Duomo. The tour continues with a visit to Pisa’s famous Leaning Tower, followed by your arrival in Rome. Experience the grandeur of the Vatican and St. Peter’s Basilica, then explore the Imperial Forums and the lively Trastevere neighborhood. Your journey concludes with cherished memories of Switzerland and Italy’s most captivating landmarks.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 - Monday: ISTANBUL

Upon arrival, we’ll transfer you to the hotel, where you’ll have some free time. Later in the afternoon, details about the start of your tour will be displayed on the boards at the hotel reception.

Day 2 - Tuesday: ISTANBUL

We’ll begin the day with a panoramic tour of Istanbul, a unique city that spans two continents. Highlights include the Süleymaniye Mosque, the ancient city walls, the Golden Horn, and the bustling fishing district, as well as the exterior of Hagia Sophia.

In the evening, we’ll transfer you to Taksim, Istanbul’s vibrant commercial district, where you can enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants, ride the historic tram, or visit the Galata Tower.

Day 3 - Wednesday: ISTANBUL - ANKARA

The day starts with a visit to Topkapi Palace, the former administrative canter of the Ottoman Empire (admission included). Next, we’ll embark on a two-hour boat trip on the Bosphorus, exclusive to travellers. This private journey will offer breathtaking views of the strait’s lively activity, Sultan’s palaces, and Ottoman-era wooden houses.

We’ll disembark on the Asian side for a stroll through the Uskudar district, known for its mosques and the Maiden’s Tower. After some free time for lunch, we’ll journey to Ankara, arriving in time for dinner.

Day 4 - Thursday: ANKARA - CAPPADOCIA

After breakfast, we’ll tour Ankara, visiting the Mausoleum of Ataturk, the ancient Ankara Castle, and the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations (admission included). Mid-morning, we’ll stop at a shopping mall for lunch.

Our journey continues to Cappadocia, with stops at the stunning Salt Lake and Hacibektas, a significant pilgrimage site housing the mausoleum of the Sufi mystic Hacibektas. We’ll reach Nevsehir for an included dinner.

Day 5 - Friday: CAPPADOCIA

The entire day will be dedicated to exploring Cappadocia. We’ll visit the Göreme Valley’s open-air museum, Uchisar’s natural fortress, and the underground city of Kaymacli. We’ll also stop at Pasabag, known as the Fairy Chimneys, before heading to Avanos for some leisure time.

Day 6 - Saturday: CAPPADOCIA - IHLARA - KONYA

We’ll visit the scenic Ihlara Valley, renowned for its rock-cut churches and cool waters. Our itinerary includes stops at a 13th-century caravanserai and the Mevlana Mausoleum (Rumi) in Konya, where we’ll learn about the Dervish order.

Dinner will be included, and we recommend attending a dervish dance performance at the cultural center.

Day 7 - Sunday: KONYA - EGRIDIR - PAMUKKALE

Traveling along a scenic lakeside route, we’ll stop at Egridir for lunch and exploration of its historic walls and mosques. Next, we’ll head to Pamukkale to marvel at the mineral-rich Cotton Palace (tickets included).

Day 8 - Monday: PAMUKKALE - EPHESUS - KUSADASI

We’ll journey to Ephesus, Asia Minor’s best-preserved ancient city, exploring landmarks like the House of the Virgin Mary, the Basilica of St. John, and the ancient ruins (admission included). Our day ends in Kusadasi, a vibrant coastal town with shops and a castle.

Day 9 - Tuesday: KUSADASI - IZMIR - BURSA - ISTANBUL

Our day begins with a brief tour of Izmir, Turkey’s modern and westernized city. After lunch, we’ll continue to Bursa, home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring historic mosques, public baths, and the Green Mosque. We’ll return to Istanbul by evening.

Day 10 - Wednesday: ISTANBUL

After breakfast, your journey with us concludes, leaving you with lasting memories of Turkey’s incredible landscapes and rich history.
