About The Tour

This 8-day tour takes you on an unforgettable journey through the UK and Ireland, beginning in London with a city tour that showcases iconic landmarks like Westminster and the Thames. After exploring London, you’ll visit Cambridge, York, and Durham, where you’ll admire historic colleges, medieval streets, and stunning cathedrals. In Scotland, you’ll visit Edinburgh, with its UNESCO-listed city center and famous castle, before heading to the Scottish Highlands, where you’ll cruise on Loch Ness and explore Urquhart Castle. The tour continues to Glasgow, followed by a scenic ferry ride to Belfast, and concludes in Dublin with a panoramic city tour of Ireland’s vibrant capital. Throughout, you’ll experience the rich history, culture, and landscapes of these remarkable destinations.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 - TUE / FRI: LONDON

Upon arrival, we will transfer you to your hotel, where you can enjoy some free time. Later in the afternoon, information about the start of your tour will be displayed on boards at the hotel reception.

Day 2 - WED / SAT: LONDON

We’ll begin the day with a city tour of London, visiting iconic landmarks such as Westminster, the Parliament, the City, and the Thames. In the afternoon, you’ll have free time, during which we offer an optional excursion to the Thames Valley, including the charming town of Windsor, home to the magnificent Windsor Castle. In the evening, we’ll meet at Piccadilly to enjoy a walk through Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho, known for its vibrant nightlife and theatre’s. Please note that this evening program may take place on your arrival day in some cases. After the walk, we’ll return to the hotel by bus.

Day 3 - THU / SUN: LONDON - CAMBRIDGE - YORK - DURHAM

Our journey begins as we leave London and travel to northern England. Our first stop will be Cambridge, where we’ll admire the stunning architecture of its historic colleges. After lunch, we’ll continue to York, a city renowned for its cathedral, Roman walls, and lively shopping streets. You’ll have free time to explore before we proceed to Durham, a medieval town boasting a majestic cathedral set before its castle.

FRI / MON: DURHAM - ALNWICK - EDINBURGH

Today, we head to Scotland, stopping at Alnwick, known for its exquisite gardens and its impressive medieval castle, featured in the Harry Potter films. We’ll then continue to Edinburgh, arriving around midday. Scotland’s capital is a vibrant city whose monumental center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city’s steep streets and green parks are overlooked by its famous castle. A local guide will take us on a panoramic tour to explore this historic and cultural gem.

Day 5 - SAT / TUE: EDINBURGH - INVERNESS - LOCH NESS - FORT AUGUSTUS - GLASGOW

Our adventure through the Scottish Highlands begins with a visit to Pitlochry, a picturesque village where you can enjoy a stroll and a coffee. We’ll pass through Inverness and stop at Loch Ness, where you’ll embark on a boat trip to experience its dark, mysterious waters and visit Urquhart Castle (admission included). Continuing our journey, we’ll stop at Fort Augustus and Fort William before traveling through the scenic high plateaus and the shores of Loch Lomond. We’ll arrive in Glasgow in the evening, where we’ll take a short walk around the city center before settling in for the night.

Important Note: From November 15 to February’s end, due to shorter days and potential snow, the itinerary will include stops at Pitlochry (with a whiskey distillery tour), Stirling (including castle admission), and a photo stop at The Kelpies, before continuing to Glasgow.

Day 6 - SUN / WED: GLASGOW - BELFAST - DUBLIN

We leave Glasgow and travel south to board a ferry at Cairnryan, crossing into Northern Ireland. Our first stop will be Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland, a city with a rich history and a bright future. From Belfast, we’ll journey into Eire, Ireland, arriving in Dublin by the evening.

Day 7 - MON / THU: DUBLIN

Begin the day with a panoramic tour of Dublin, Ireland’s peaceful and vibrant capital. We’ll explore the banks of the River Liffey, its serene parks, the historic university, and the bustling streets of the city center. We’ll also see the exterior of the famed Trinity College. The afternoon will be free for you to enjoy Dublin at your leisure. Note that depending on arrival times and daylight hours, the tour may take place on the previous afternoon.

Day 8 - TUE / FRI: DUBLIN

After breakfast, our tour concludes. Depart with wonderful memories of your adventure.
