This 12-day tour takes you on an unforgettable journey through the Nordic countries, exploring Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Estonia. Starting in Copenhagen, you’ll discover its rich history and vibrant contrasts, before traveling through charming towns like Odense and Aarhus. Cross the North Sea to Norway, where you’ll be immersed in stunning fjord landscapes, visiting places like Stavanger, Bergen, and the iconic Sognefjord. From Oslo, you’ll travel to Stockholm, where you’ll experience its unique blend of modernity and history. After a scenic ferry ride to Finland, explore Turku and Helsinki before heading to Tallinn, Estonia, with its beautifully preserved medieval architecture. This tour combines breathtaking natural beauty, fascinating history, and rich cultural experiences, leaving you with unforgettable memories.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 - Wednesday: Copenhagen

Upon arrival, we will transfer you to the hotel, where you will have some free time. In the afternoon, you will find information about the start of your tour on the boards located at the hotel reception.

Day 2 - Thursday: Copenhagen - Odense - Aarhus

In the morning, we embark on a panoramic tour of Copenhagen with a local guide. The Danish capital, the largest Scandinavian city, is full of contrasts, featuring the popular Tivoli Gardens, Christiansborg Palace, the charming terraces of Nyhavn, and the iconic Little Mermaid statue.

Later in the morning, we journey to Jutland, crossing a 20 km bridge over the sea. We stop at Odense to explore its Gothic cathedral and H.C. Andersen’s House. Upon arrival in Aarhus, you will have free time to explore the city.

Day 3 - Friday: Aarhus - Kristiansand Ferry - Kristiansand - Stavanger

We travel to Hirtshals and take a ferry across the North Sea to Norway, a three-hour voyage to Kristiansand. From there, we continue along Norway’s stunning southern coastline, stopping at the charming town of Flekkefjord before reaching Stavanger, a picturesque town with a bustling port by the fjord.

Note: The ferry schedule may vary depending on the month, but you will normally have time for lunch on board.

Day 4 - Saturday: Stavanger - Bergen

Leaving the city, we stop at the Swords in Rock monument, a tribute to the Viking era. Our scenic route includes tunnels, bridges, and boat segments along Norway’s fjord coast, including the world’s deepest undersea tunnel. The two boat trips make this journey both relaxing and spectacular.

Arriving in Bergen at lunchtime, we take a cable car up Mount Fløyen for breathtaking views of the town and fjord. Afterwards, you will have leisure time to explore the capital city of fjords.

Day 5 - Sunday: Bergen - Sognefjord - Oslo

Today, we experience breathtaking landscapes of Norway’s fjords, glaciers, lakes, and forests. We journey to Sognefjord, the largest fjord in Norway, stopping at the stunning Tvindefossen Waterfall. Then, we embark on a magnificent cruise between Gudvangen and Aurland, enjoying spectacular scenery during this 1.5-hour voyage. We suggest having lunch on board.

Continuing our adventure, we traverse snow-covered landscapes and pass through the Aurland Tunnel, the longest in the world. We visit Borgund’s 12th-century wooden church, Norway’s best-preserved medieval church (admission included). Finally, we arrive in Oslo, where you will have free time to explore the port, main streets, and Frogner Park’s artwork.

Day 6 - Monday: Oslo - Örebro - Stockholm

We begin with a panoramic tour of Oslo with a local guide. This city blends vibrant modern architecture with classical buildings, stunning scenery, and large parks with sculptures. Oslo has been named the European Green Capital. After the tour, you will have free time to explore on your own.

Next, we depart for Sweden, traveling through landscapes of forests and lakes. Our next stop is Örebro, a historic town by a beautiful lake, featuring a castle and a charming old town. Enjoy some time for a stroll before we continue to Stockholm, arriving in the evening.

Day 7 - Tuesday: Stockholm

Today, we embark on a panoramic tour of Stockholm, a city built on 14 interconnected islands. We visit Gamla Stan, also known as “the city between bridges,” a lively old quarter with monumental buildings such as the Nobel Prize Museum, the Cathedral, and the Royal Palace. Whenever possible, we enjoy the stunning views from Fjällgatan viewpoint.

Afterwards, you will have leisure time to explore. We recommend visiting the museums and parks. Optionally, you can visit the City Hall and the Vasa Museum.

Day 8 - Wednesday: Stockholm - Turku Ferry

Enjoy a free day in Stockholm. In the evening, we board a modern ferry for an overnight journey to Finland. Accommodation will be in double en-suite cabins.

Day 9 - Thursday: Stockholm - Turku Ferry - Naantali - Helsinki

As we arrive in Finland, we recommend heading to the ship’s deck for sunrise to enjoy the mesmerizing landscapes as we sail past the Åland Islands, a collection of hundreds of forested islands.

After disembarking the ferry, you will have time to explore Turku, a city with a strong Swedish influence. We then continue to Naantali, a picturesque town with charming wooden houses by the sea. Our journey takes us to Helsinki, arriving around lunchtime. In the afternoon, you will have leisure time to explore the city, including its old market, Russian-influenced buildings, and beautiful churches.

Day 10 - Friday: Helsinki - Tallinn Ferry - Tallinn

We embark on an included boat trip to the Suomenlinna Islands, six islands home to a magnificent fortress that once protected the city’s entrance and is now a World Heritage Site. Take some time to explore, crossing the islands via pedestrian bridges.

In the afternoon, we board a ferry to Estonia, a journey of about 2.5 hours. As we depart from Helsinki, you will enjoy stunning views of the surrounding islands. In the evening, we arrive in Tallinn.

Day 11 - Saturday: Tallinn

The capital of Estonia is a wonderful city that has preserved its medieval core intact. You will enjoy a panoramic tour of the city, exploring its walls, churches, squares, and medieval streets filled with tourist attractions. The afternoon is free for leisure and exploration.

Day 12 - Sunday: Tallinn

After breakfast, our journey comes to an end, leaving you with wonderful lasting memories.
